Technical Details
Tour difficulty rating
Easy- with a few walks and climbs. Intermediate- longer walks of upto 2 km. Hard – walking longer distances than 4 km and on difficult terrain.
Accommodation
Accommodation is always included in the total cost of the tour. Hotels used in larger towns are at least tourist class, and usually first class. When choosing the hotel, we make our decisions based on the following: its location, friendliness, what it offers, and if possible, whether it is environmentally-friendly. Some hotels where our visitors stay overnight, have received the Green Key. In rural areas, the hotels are the best in the area. Rooms are twin rooms with ensuite bathroom.
If you wish to have a single room, you must pay extra.
Food
Food is always included in the total cost. Three meals per day. Lunches and sometimes also breakfasts are not eaten in the hotel. If the weather allows it, lunches are always organized in a farm yard or nature and are mostly prepared by a local farm hostess.
Insurance
We recommend insuring your trip which also guarantees health insurance.
Visas and flights
We are not responsible for organizing visas and booking flights. All clients are responsible for booking their own flights and buying their own visa if necessary. Most European citizens do not require a visa to travel to Estonia.
Estonian currency
EUR (since 1st January 2011). There are exchange offices in several hotels, in the Port of Tallinn, at the airport, the railway station and many other places. There are many cash machines in cities, but take cash for travel in the countryside.
